Theatre Peckham Presents “Young, Gifted and Black 2024” featuring an interactive exploration of Netflix’s critically acclaimed Supacell whilst raising awareness of Sickle Cell.
As part of this special series, Theatre Peckham will present a unique, interactive event on October 12th that explores the main Sickle Cell storyline. Theatre Peckham will offer two workshops designed for young actors and aspiring artists/creatives aged 16-25 including:
- Script to Performance
- On-set direction for actors
This will be followed by a panel discussion hosted by Annika Allen Gray – Head of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at All3Media, Co Founder of the Black Magic Awards & Black Leaders in TV.
There will be a discussion of selected scenes from Supacell series featuring cast members on the panel and insights from the Sickle Cell Society and TV professionals before opening up the floor for a wider Q&A session.
