A double-bill of high energy of contemporary African choreography reflecting on love, loss and the important role of relationships in our survival.
Génération A is an invitation to consider ‘here’ and ‘there’, to cast our eyes beyond barriers and borders, for exchange between people and places, and to support artists and their ideas to travel. Initiated by choreographers Fatima Ndoye and Alioune Diagne, the dance festival is dedicated to contemporary choreography made by artists working in French-speaking African countries.
The Place is proud to offer London a Double Bill of works ahead of the 2024 edition of the festival, which will be held in Paris in June.
