This year’s Black History Month’s theme is Reclaim the Narrative. Tian Brown-Sampson, Associate Director of Roots and Director of Skyvers, will lead a workshop exploring her experience bringing these two canonical texts to life as part of the Almeida’s Angry and Young season. We will unearth and celebrate the work of the Black artists that influenced the development of British Theatre.
As part of this event, freelance artist Déviniat Adedibu will also lead a networking session.
Participants of this workshop will also have the opportunity to claim a FREE ticket to see the reading of Skyvers by Barry Reckord.
