Prince of Peckham
Wednesday 22 June is now designated “Windrush Day’ annually in the United Kingdom.
This assembly of concerned citizens, entitled ‘In The Company of Friends Past & Present!’ in the Music Room upstairs welcomes Anton Phillips theatre director and co-founder of Carib Theatre to reflect on the experience of the relatively small contingent of Caribbean writers poets artists, and musicians who found themselves ‘in England’s green and pleasant land’!
