Lolita Chakrabarti is best known for her play Red Velvet, which opened at the Tricycle Theatre (now Kiln), before playing in the West End and internationally. Recently her adaptation of the novel Life of Pi ran to great acclaim at the Crucible Theatre, Sheffield and it transfers to the West End in 2021.
