Three Birds is set in a flat on a south London housing estate where three siblings Tiana Tionne and Tanika are left at home alone.
Mum has gone and siblings Tiana Tionne and Tanika find themselves alone at home with a bathroom that is out of action. Tiana the eldest is left to look after her brother and sister she takes charge of housework and homework. Tionne carries out strange experiments and Tanika is acting up. The local drug dealer visits to collect his money and a Teacher calls at the flat. The outside world is creeping closer and closer as they try to keep their secret away from the adults.
The play was the winner of the 2011 Bruntwood Prize for Playwriting.
