Focus Arts Promotions are pleased to announce that veteran UK Comedian Rudi Lickwood has joined the cast of “Midlife Crisis” For Better Not Worse. The West London comic will be causing a crisis in his debut appearance as Rob in the hit international stage play on Saturday 4th January 2025 at the Questors theatre in Ealing.
Writer and director Alan Charles is excited to work with Rudi and cites Lickwood as instrumental in his development as a stand-up poet. Charles explained, “Back in the 90’s when I was establishing myself as a performance poet Rudi regularly offered me a platform to develop my artform outside of the gospel circuit”. Thirty years later Alan is delighted to have Rudi on his platform in his play as the comic genius lends his humour to the production.
The play looks at the challenges a couple faces as they navigate through the midlife stage of their lives. After 26 years of marriage, the kids are grown, the mortgage is paid, it’s now their time, but that’s when the crisis began.
Midlife Crisis is a play about life, love, family, friends and growing old gracefully. It’s a play for the entire family where art meets life and life is seen through the eyes of art.
The play has received overwhelming feedback from audiences in St Vincent, St Kitts, Trinidad & Tobago and cities throughout the UK.
Get ready for a belly-busting evening of laughter and banter.
